It’s Friday all over again, and I feel free to post something which isn’t wagging an admonitory finger or sneering at some orthographical up-cock. Perhaps you should copy this picture and hang it on your office door when you leave for home this evening:

In the same sort of vein, the hierarchiologist Laurence J. Peter (yes, he of the famous Principle, and a professor at one of Webwrights’ almae matres) defined a cynic as “someone who looks both ways before crossing a one-way street”. If formulation of The Peter Principle isn’t enough of a gift for one man to bestow upon mankind, Dr. Peter also managed this inspired piece of  annual lunacy.
